How’s the header look?  Would it look better if I shrunk the letters a bit and maybe moved them off to the side?  I’ve not been selling any books lately, but I’m continuing to add new subscribers on a daily basis, so I feel like I need something to make it clear to people that– hey, look, a book!  From me!  That you can buy!

(Just after posting this, I discover how to stick the clickable image over to the right, and now I’m thinking both is probably overkill.  I’m leaving them both up for right now, though, to see what y’all have to say.)

Anyway, suggestions actively solicited.

  2. It looks nice, but I’m wondering if a little space between the “Now Available on Amazon” line and the bottom would be good? I’m not an artist or graphic person by any means, so if I am wrong, ignore me!

    1. The arrangement definitely needs a bit more tweaking– if for no better reason than the bottom line isn’t centered. And yeah, it probably needs to be a bit higher as well.

  3. I’m not sure I love the drop shadow behind the text when it’s already placed on the shadow from the sunburst. It makes it look a little…smudgy? Other than that I think it looks fantastic.

    1. It looks a little blurrier than I’d like in this incarnation– I think that the website I’m using to generate the text is just better at some text sizes than others. I’ll continue to fiddle. Thanks! 🙂

  6. Since you asked… I think the pic loses some of its wow-factor when it’s covered up. I would move the author name straight across, to the far right. The other tweaks have already been mentioned above. Good luck with it.

  8. I like the header. I like the different colours and the amazon line. Having that tab for the book is also helpful. In it, I’d put the buying links very clearly labelled so the reader doesn’t have to strain to find them.
