I am expecting OtherJob tonight to be an absolute madhouse.  It is either the weekend before school starts or the weekend before the weekend before school starts for virtually every school-aged kid in the area, the weather is going to be perfect, and there is a major event of some sort going on in the neighborhood.

In between now and then, I need to mow my yard for the first time in a couple of weeks (I’m the lazy neighbor again… sigh) and gird my loins to attend a birthday party for a three-year-old that I’m not related to, because my son was invited, and apparently this is the way things are done in my life now.
