THE BENEVOLENCE ARCHIVES now only $0.99!

The announcement’s right there in the title, but let’s put it here too– now that I’ve pulled The Benevolence Archives, Vol. 1 from Amazon’s KDP Select program, I’ve dropped the price to only ninety-nine cents, which is so cheap it’s practically free.  Just not actually free.

In addition, very soon the book will be available everywhere— I have some reformatting stuff I have to do tonight to comply with Smashwords, but I think that by the end of the weekend you will be able to download it through virtually any ebook service anywhere.  The Smashwords version is available now, but I’m not going to link to it yet because of the aforementioned formatting errors.  If you want some other version, hold off until I let you know everything’s working okay.

But:  99 cents!  Let’s sell some books, eh?

  1. Thank you for your visit to my blog and choosing to like the post you read. I am very impressed with this post and I am now a follower. I look forward to reading more of your posts and sharing mine with you.
I am going to purchase your book on Wednesday;payday. I know, you can’t believe I don’t have $0.99. It is true though. I just finished reading the sample Amazon offered. I am looking forward to reading more of your books! 🙂
I am curious about all of the videos in this post. We use the same Theme. I have had little success posting videos. Can you tell me how you post them? 😦

    1. First, thanks for looking at the book– I hope you like the rest of it!

I write my posts in the Dashboard; WordPress has a couple of dueling systems in place to make posts from, so it’s possible that the other one doesn’t work with embed code as well. Mouse over the name of your blog in the upper left corner and then go to “New” and “Post” to get the proper screen to come up. (The main color theme of the page is black. If it’s blue, you’re in the wrong editor.) Once it’s there, look in the upper right hand corner of the actual part where you’re typing. You’ll see tabs that say “visual” and “text.” “Visual” is what you’ll see when you’re looking at the page, and “text” is all HTML. You want to copy embed code from YouTube (make sure it’s the embed code and not the link) and paste it in that box, not on the “visual” page. Once you’ve done that, it should show up on the visual page (you’ll see a box for it, at any rate) and when you publish the post it should work properly.
