I just read Every Heart a Doorway and I’m eager to jump into the companion books. What did you think of Charlie Jane’s new one? I loved her debut.

DNF, unfortunately. It kinda broke my heart but it took me a week to get halfway through it and I had to admit the story wasn’t grabbing me and I didn’t like the characters. I’m so backlogged right now I can’t spend a week on a book I’m not enjoying. 😦
