I just
got an invitation to Ello. Which at the moment I have no real idea how to use. Apparently I get invites for other people, though? Or something? At any rate, I’m @luthersiler over there if there are any of you using it. Accepting friend invites from anyone and everyone at the moment until I decide if I like the service or not. I’ll post impressions after a bit if I think it’s worth talking about.

Oh yeah, ello! That swept like a wildfire through my Twitter friends one weekend and then I never heard about it again. But I miss everything. Left to my own devices I’d just be posting to Livejournal for crying out loud.

That matches my experience– launch weekend, and maybe the week after that, it seemed like every nerd site I visit was raving about it, and then it completely fell off the radar. And this post has not exactly caused me to be flooded with requests. 🙂
