  1. I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed this author’s books. I found him while scrolling for something sci fi that didn’t have nubile sex bots or adolescent male fantasy wank dreams in it (seriously male authors are almost unreadable to me right now) and his work was just great. Also, his wife is an academic in my actual field of music and is amazing and I only found this out by reading his blurb while admiring his musical name. And I’ve read her work!! So I’m glad you enjoyed this author’s work.

  2. I should start doing posts like this; it would be a fun visual way to keep track of what I’m reading.

In December I finished 3 volumes of Paul Cornell’s Lychford series; Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel; Heathen vol 1 by Natasha Alterici; The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern; 3 volumes of Thor by J. Michael Straczynski; and most of War Girls by Tochi Onybuchi. Also DNF’d Throne of Glass and Bury My Heart at Chuck E Cheese’s.

Heathen is the winner of this bunch: it’s gorgeous and powerful, but sadly short-lived.
