My concern is, if Mike takes the VP slot, then the Hoosier Republican who steps in – pick one, any one – for the GOP to run for governor will end up winning, leaving Indiana under single-party rule. I want Mike to stay right where he is, so that come November, I’ll be calling John Gregg my governor.

I think that given how close Gregg came in ’12 and the name recognition issues any new R candidate will face, we’ve probably got this sewn up. Frankly at this point I expect IN to go blue.
