I don’t really weigh in on the chili debate. For me, the more important question is “will you enjoy eating it?” LikeLike September 21, 2014 at 4:26 PM Reply
It’s gotta simmer for another couple of hours. I’ll start the spaghetti a bit after 6. After that, mmmmmm. LikeLike September 21, 2014 at 4:47 PM Reply

Mmmm love me some Skyline. I’d try to make it myself, but there’s one like a mile from me, so why bother. LikeLike September 21, 2014 at 5:42 PM Reply
Looks like a great batch of chili. Are you using for a spagetti sauce. We used to do that with the leftover chili. 😀 LikeLike September 21, 2014 at 5:42 PM Reply
Since this is Skyline-style, yeah, it’s served over spaghetti. I’ve used broad noodles in the past to good effect too. LikeLike September 21, 2014 at 5:45 PM Reply
‘Twas delicious, although I think next time I may melt an anchovy fillet or two into it and see what that does. It’s not “authentic,” but I’ve never actually had authentic Skyline chili so I’m not sure I have to care. 🙂 LikeLiked by 1 person September 21, 2014 at 7:39 PM Reply
I’ve been introduced to Cincinnati-style chili in recent years and rather like the result. I don’t see why people should get tense about it. (I’m still skeptical that there’s such a thing as ‘Detroit-style pizza’, however.) LikeLike September 21, 2014 at 7:37 PM Reply
Starting to think I should have made barbecue instead. Surely I can get someone to fight with me about barbecue. 🙂 LikeLike September 21, 2014 at 7:39 PM Reply
