I know I’ve taken basically this exact same picture any number of times, but I thought the snow was especially pretty this morning. Note the ice berm at the foot of the driveway that I get to clear later this afternoon. Whee!

In case anyone’s wondering, that’s 14” deep on average, with the deepest parts getting to 23”.
Pretty sure it’s over a foot of snow here in NY in my part of the world
Is that normal where you are? I know, like, Buffalo gets tons of snow every year and the city not so much. Fourteen inches of snow in Indiana is a lot but not unprecedented at all.
in 2016 they recorded it to be 27.5 in in NY and they say Central Park was 11.4 in Sunday so where I am at it is defiantly more than that
We had sooooo much snow in southern NH. I don’t know the official measurement, but I am going to go with feet. Probably two feet. Very cold, so it was granular– fairly easy to move but flies everywhere when you throw it. And something went wrong with the snowblower toward the end of last night’s clearing session, so we had to do almost everything by hand. We got a little help from the neighbor with the working snowblower on the driveway berm.
The piles are huge. We need to not get more for a little while.
I know someone else in NH, and he was saying he had to actually break through a layer of ice on top of the snow before they were able to move it.
I used to have a big problem with my blower burning though belts. Any chance that was what happened?
