Nobody likes the font on the last image. OK. Any of these better? And can you tell me what #4 is reminding me of?

I personally like # 13, but I’m unable to answer your question on # 4.

I like 2, 5, & 11. Keep in mind the thumbnail sized image many promotions require. Also keep in mind older eyes. No idea on #4.

I like #4 and #13 (with 13 being my favorite). Both these look like they could have been handwritten with a pencil. The variance in letter heights adds interest. My least favorite is #3 unless you want it to appear as if it is a child’s writing then 3 would be perfect.

Could I suggest you provide us with a sample of your own handwriting? (Then we could have it analysed by the FBI) – Otherwise I think 15 is the best of a bad lot. Absolutely hate 13 – the spacing between words is too small. #4 is obviously the style of a very tall man with a very short penis.

#12 is easy to read on my phone.

I’m 110% in on 12 because it looks like print handwriting that a kid would do. Cursive doesn’t make sense because a lot of schools don’t teach cursive anymore.

12 looks like it was written with a pencil, which makes sense.

I like #13, but wonder about the readability in a thumbnail – but as a cover it works well.

12 is the most readable.
Have you looked for a “chalkboard” font?

Found a few, nothing I’ve liked much.

Your name in a serif font, title in a child style font. Colour and pencil pic are good.

Also, probably a subtitle to explain the contents better. Tales of middle school. That sort of thing. And you need to flog this to education pubs. Some of your stories are beautifully told and you have an eye for detail. The stories are more interesting than you think.

I’m working on a subtitle; just haven’t come up with anything yet. Plus if I can’t fit the three words on the cover the sub is gonna be a royal pain.

I’m only associating #4 with a Ray Bradbury quote I have somewhere that uses that font.
I like the title of 12 but with your name in a more “signature” style, like 13. I’m known for being strange though when it comes to design like this, so take it with a grain of salt.

I prefer 2 — casual, but orderly at the same time.
