I’m posting too much today, I know; it’s been kinda a weird day.
Anyway, blogwank of all blogwank questions: This blog has been around for six months, give or take. I just hit my 500th follower today.
Is that good? Is 500 a lot? I don’t know how to calibrate my sense of accomplishment around here. Those of you who actually comment once in a while, how many followers do you have and how long has your blog been around? Just curious; I promise not to post again today unless something really funny happens. And even then I might save it until tomorrow.

500 is more than twice as much as my 194 🙂
I’ve only got 43 and I’ve been around since last year, but I hardly ever write in this thing which is why I am doing an advent challenge this month. I have absolutely no idea how to get more followers or promote myself. Even my mother only reads it when I specifically link her to an actual post and ask her to please read it…
So now I kinda hate you.
Here’s what I think I know: though a few folks will rocket into the thousands in a matter of months, 500 in 6 months is really good. I’ve been around for about two years and I just passed 200. I have taken some long breaks from posting in that time, so that may be part of the problem. It took a long time to get to 100, but the trip to 200 took half as long. Now it feels like I get a handful a week.
So I’d love to know your secret.
How did I find your blog, anyway. Did you come and like mine? That’s how I usually find new folks to follow.
I would say 500 is a lot; definitely more than mine. With that being said, you have a different topic than I do. I believe I found your blog off the liking one of mine (did that make any sense at all??) Anyways, I enjoy reading your blog, and I like the teacher perspective side of things.

I have almost 350 posts since August.
500 is huge! Good for you, you are definitely doing something right. But now I have to go back and follow all of the people who just said they need more followers, way to go.
My blog has been around for two years and I recently hit 150 followers (I am at 153 as of this moment). I don’t connect mine to all my social media, though.
