Anybody else seeing a noticeable spike in traffic today? Going to no particular posts, and from waaay more countries (the US is currently only accounting for about 25% of my traffic– and it’s still the largest single country) than is typical in a day? I have more unique visitors already today, without a post, than I usually have in an entire day, and they’re much more spread out geographically than usual– but no referrers that would give me a clue as to where it’s coming from. Anyone else seeing that?

I must be the exception, my numbers have tumbled down fast since Friday. I don’t really care too much,, because I’ll just keep doing what I do no matter what. It’s just strange.

today about 50% US, but seeing Malaysia and Philippines which is unusual. Yesterday was more varied in non-US traffic as well but not to this larger percent. I did however post 2 yesterday and one today. The one today may account for the middle east hits since it was 🙂 Frog Legs.

I had visits from Djibouti, Iran and Bahrain today – which I never get. And then 75 hits from Trinidad – I didn’t realize there were that many people in Trinidad!. One posting about a Family Picnic gets 10 or so visits a day for the last 3 months, and I have no clue why.

nope, no spike. just a slightly better-than-average Monday on all three blogs I can see stats for. That’s explained by two of them being in A to Z and the other having a really stimulating comics post. We did get a visit from Mauritus today, though.
