I told my principal and my assistant principal today that I was going to be instantly writing up any student who I heard say the word “fuck” tomorrow, and that they should expect fifty or sixty referrals by the end of the day.
Both of them told me to go for it.
*cracks knuckles*

Man, I remember those days… alas, writing up students was so time consuming and I’d have to contact the office to get the student escorted to the office, it just wasn’t worth it… I got a Google-voice account and got into the habit of texting parents when students were “out of line.” I had a prefilled out template and a Google translate window opened on my computer, so I could translate to Spanish for those parents. Most parents were horrified, some were horrible and nothing ever changed… it was not a good environment… ugh. It’s been a year and a half and I’m still unable to believe what I put up with… I feel for you bro.
