3. Also, I like that you like sci fi AND musical theatre. And you started (but never completed?) a doctorate? (I’m guessing here as you’ve made some cryptic comments in various posts). You a highly successful nerd every which way. Respect.

   1. A long time ago I wanted to be a college professor; I got an MA from the University of Chicago and didn’t move on into the doctoral program because as it turns out I don’t much like research. I briefly flirted with an Ed.D as well but that didn’t work out for different reasons. An absurd percentage of my friends have doctorates, though.
