Blargh.

Every single interesting thing going on in my life right now is stuff that one way or another I probably shouldn’t be talking about.

So we’ll settle for “blargh” right now.

How are you?

  1. Me? I’m blogging without supervision. 🙂 Well, trying to, anyway. (I HATE having trouble seeing!) Wondering if I’ll be able to participate in the A-Z Challenge, or if I’ll have to drop out before it even gets started. Trying to come up with interview questions to ask fictional people. Pretending I don’t want another cup of tea. Shoving the cat off my desk… again.

  2. Hmmm… I think there’s a clue to something in there. That post was 34 words long, and 34 is the number of chapters in Deuteronomy, which can be anagrammed into TOO RUM NEEDY, which we know pirates can be. And what is a “blargh” if not a pirate blog! Perhaps there’s a new book in the works? A book about SPACE PIRATES WHO BLOG!?!?  AWESOME! Thanks for the hint!

  3. Hi Luther, just read Skylights and a rollicking good read it is too. Perfect amount of tech for non techies and even though my knowledge of maths, physics, chemistry or any earth science is actually NEGATIVE, you’ve managed to make STEM concepts seem interesting. Your characters esp Gabe are funny and endearing, the plot is a well-designed page-turner and your quirky but super solid writing style is laugh-out-loud hilarious. I love the easy writing style, laconic character portrayals, and nicely paced plot. As a professional academic writer with academic pubs I’m good at working out who writes well and who doesn’t. You, my friend, write a treat. Now I want the sequel, because my only beef with the novel is that the book ends on a cliff-hanger. You bastard.
