I haven’t seen either of the newest PLANET OF THE APES movies, so I have no idea whether either of them are any good, but I am a student and lover of good invective, and this is superb.

  I’ve actually really only heard good things about them, and this guy’s rant is mostly about how sick he is of remakes and sequels; there’s nothing about the actual movie in it.

I have often wondered why there are so many remakes coming out of Hollywood. Is it that they love the idea of better special effects or they really cannot find any new scripts worth filming? Inquiring minds would like to know!
