This one is going to be controversial. Day 15 is “A song you like that’s a cover by another artist.”
Shut up, this is fuckin’ beautiful:
What else is better than the original?

Today is “A song you’d love to be played at your wedding,” and, well, I already got married and this song played:
What did you dance the night away to?
Day 13 is “A song you like from the ’70s.” That’s … kind of intimidatingly broad. Hmm.
Okay. February 9, 1973, and the song was originally released in 1970 so it counts:
What song screams the Seventies to you?
Day 12 is “a song from your preteen years.” So something formative, huh? OK:
What were you listening to as a sproglet?
A song you never tired of. I’ve nearly used this song three or four times so far, but this is the one it fits best:
What could you listen to 500 times, then listen to 500 more?
Day 10 is “A song that makes you sad.” This one’s a tiny bit of a cheat, because this is also one of my favorite songs, but putting it on repeat and singing along really loud in the car has definitely gotten me through some moments, if you know what I mean. I don’t listen to music to be made sad, but this is a good song to listen to when I’m sad.
Or, y’know, pretty much any other time, too, because again: this is one of my favorite songs.
(Raise your hand if you know what the song is before you look at the video.)
What’s your favorite sad sad song?
Day 9’s theme is “A song that makes you happy!” Let’s go with this one:
(Random note: I’ve written the last seven days all at a stretch, scheduling them to pop on the right days, and I know I’ve chosen the right song when I have to listen to it all the way through before I can move on to the next day. I listened to this one twice.)
What’s bringing a smile to your faces?
A song about drugs or alcohol. I’m sorry, there have to be two:
And:
(There are so, so, so, SO many choices. But these are the first two that came to mind.)
What are you getting lifted to?
